08 Toyota Tundra No Ecm Communiation No Start

Now it only cranks not starting.

Some 2007 2008 model year Tundra vehicles may exhibit a no start condition with Diagnostic Trouble Code DTC B2799 caused by water intrusion into the engine room wire harness. I Changed spark plugs coils was cracked battery battery terminals fuel pump but only crank no start. But didnt want to do the work to get to it and now its back at my house.

If the engine is failing to start entirely that can be a symptom of a bad ECM. Also no communication to the computers was present. Customer reply replied 4 years ago.

I ordered a pump and installed same result. And I had taken it to a shop who suggests a new ECM replacement. Today I had a 2018 Toyota Tundra 57 pick up truck towed into my shop.

If you run across a 2008 Toyota Tundra 3UR-FE and have a no start no ECM communication condition and there is no Check Engine Light bulb illuminated during the function check disconnect the secondary air valvesThese have a tendency to short the 5 volt reference line and stop all ECM communication. I tried using a re-manufactured ECU that was programmed with my VIN I also tried using a junkyard ECU when the re-manufactured unit wouldnt communicate. Just a ton of stuff.

I checked all the fuses and were all good. Reason stated was could not establish communication I checked every fuse in both blocks under the hood and under the dash. All i did that day was pull some wires through the firewall including a 4awg power cable i also am putting two 16awg wires into the fuse box for future fused switches.
